It happened to me!

A few weeks back.. was traveling for yet another project.. this time in Pune..staying in a guest house..

Got high fever .. which I believe I got from the caretaker as he had got fever the previous day

my first reaction...

swine flu??

shit!!!!!!!!!

...panicked...

desperately googled...

negative!

thank god!...what a relief!!

Stubborn as always.. I decided to stay away from medicines.. but one day into it.. realized that it is more than what I wanted to handle..

so called up my dad.. with a hope that he will "fix" me yet another time with his magic wand ...and got a list of medicines to take..

fever was completely gone in flat 2 days ..dad rocks!!

but the weakness remained...had never felt so weak in my life.. barely being able to lift my head and wondering how heavy it felt...

That very evening .. I got a sudden feeling that I will vomit... but I knew for sure that I couldn't as my stomach had been empty for hours.. but the body still had a right to try and it did just that...

as expected .. nothing happened... and there I was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom looking at my face that had not been shaved for a few days now

I thought of all the very heavy weights I used to lift in leg-press and lunges, to the envy of every one around in the gym till a few months back.. and how it felt like an old movie that I watched probably a decade ago..

Suddenly I realized is that there has been a big thudding sound

but before I could react, something very heavy had already hit my head

with my slow responses.. I tried to understand what had happened.. but just couldn't make sense

I could still feel the impact on my head and it appeared that the view in front of my eyes had also changed a bit..

..the mirror had turned into the garbage bin...and soon the realization stuck that I am already lying flat on the ground

and now I could feel the same heavy thing had hit my knee and elbow too

..I had actually fainted!!
